Book Worm

I don't read everyday or anything like that but if a new book catches my eye, I try to buy or borrow it from work (I work at Barnes & Noble and there are some perks) asap. Here are some that have caught my eye recently. Some are out and some are soon to be released.

I noticed 'Dreaming of Dior' by Charlotte Smith yesterday for obvious reasons. You can't tell from the picture here but the dress and hat are fuzzy, like a velvety texture. When I opened, I saw the most amazing images:
If it alone doesn't do anything for you, theres a pretty sweet story to go along with it. A girl inherits her grandmothers collection of clothing and trinkets and learns that it is filled with original Dior and Chanel dresses. Dream come true, right??? Through this collection, she becomes closer to her grandmother, learning about her life and memories. Sounds awesome!

On a slightly sillier note, Sarah Silverman's 'Bedwetter', comes out April 20 and I'm really hoping its as funny as it looks. I mean, c'mon, "Stories of courage, redemption, and pee". Not quite sure if this one is part biography or just funny short stories. Either way, I love Sarah, so I'm hoping for a good laugh.

Last one on the list is Molly Ringwald's "Getting the Pretty Back: Friendship, Family, and Finding the Perfect Lipstick", which comes out April 27. I feel like that could be the title of my book if I ever wrote one. Well the lipstick part anyway. Molly will always be 16 to me and is hopefully a lot like Andy from her role in Pretty In Pink. If she is than I won't have a hard time taking advice from her on how to be "the sexiest, funniest, smartest, best-dressed, and most confident woman that I can be".
Remember, reading is sexy!
